Which mailbox type is best for you?
If you are a small or start-up business, with a small team, we recommend our Advanced mailboxes; they are feature packed, best value, and can save you having to buy expensive email software (see the webmail information below). We run SystemCore with these mailboxes!
If you have a larger team, who need to collaborate often on projects, have a need to share contacts or calendar appointments, or indeed need to send each-other very large files, then we recommend a full Exchange Mailbox – it’s a corporate class mail service, and it doesn’t really get any better than full Exchange.

Email security you can trust – all account types
Using respected, industry-leading virus scanning software, our mail servers prevent harmful email from reaching your computer. Accurate interception is ensured by regular, automatic updates of both the scanning engine and the virus definition file.
Viruses are intercepted in real-time, following heuristic scanning of all inbound and outbound email, to identify and remove suspect attachments and malformed messages. Even archived files are searched, ensuring your email is trustworthy.
N.B. SystemCore do insist that you also run local, up to date Antivirus software, (e.g. AVG for Windows or Sophos for Mac).
Cut down the Spam !
SystemCore Webhosting email accounts use Bayesian filtering and adjustable spam filters to sort the useful mail from the nuisance mail.
In addition, our webmail and mailbox control panel interfaces allow you to block senders, or even entire domains. You can even create and maintain a ‘safe senders’ list, to keep your inbox clean. These are powerful features that would normally be found only in email client software (e.g. Outlook); but they are standard features in all SystemCore Webhosting mail accounts.

Roaming SMTP enables you to send mail using email software on your computer (or via webmail), however you are accessing the internet. With other providers, you may need to use your ISP’s outgoing mail server to send email, but with SystemCore Advanced Mailboxes you’re not tied to your own broadband connection. For example, if you use email software on a laptop, you’ll be able to send emails using any broadband connection when you’re on the move, without having to change your settings.
